Security & Trust
Flywheel handles your settlement and financial data, so we're plain about how it's protected, retained, and who helps us process it.
Per-tenant isolation
Financial facts are protected by row-level security (RLS), so each seller account only ever sees its own settlements, returns, orders, and inventory, even when the same person switches between multiple client accounts from one login.
Encrypted marketplace credentials
Marketplace connection credentials are stored encrypted and used only to pull the data you ask Flywheel to reconcile, whether connected via Amazon Seller Central sign-in or Walmart assisted bind during beta.
Export grace period
If your entitlement ends, you keep a 30-day window to export your data before it is scheduled for removal.
Defined retention
Core marketplace data is retained for 36 months. After entitlement ends, data is permanently deleted roughly 61 days later (following the export grace period).
Sub-processors
Flywheel relies on a small set of trusted service providers to operate. Each receives only the data needed for its purpose. The current list:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Billing and subscription payments |
| Postmark | Transactional email delivery |
| Amazon SP-API | Amazon US settlement, returns, and catalog data |
| Walmart API | Walmart US settlement, returns, and catalog data |
| Google Analytics 4 | Website and product usage analytics (consent-gated) |
| Cloud hosting | Application hosting and data storage |
